Alliance for Water Efficiency

The Alliance for Water Efficiency is dedicated to the efficient and sustainable use of water. AWE advocates for water-efficient products and programs and provides information and assistance on water conservation efforts.

Green Building Initiative

The Green Building Initiative’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of practices that result in energy-efficient, healthier and environmentally sustainable buildings. GBI is committed to residential and commercial construction approaches that are environmentally progressive but also practical and affordable for builders to implement.

Greenscapes Business Alliance

The Greenscapes Business Alliance advocates the value of properly managed turf and landscapes for communities. GBA is a national group of organizations whose members are in the business of providing and maintaining greenscapes. GBA focuses on quantifying and communicating the ecosystem services and quality of life benefits of properly managed lawns and landscapes.

The Council of Manufacturing Associations has a membership of over 260 national manufacturing trade associations representing 130,000 companies worldwide. CMA creates partnerships across the industry, allowing members to gain insights, share perspectives, form coalitions and ensure manufacturers have a strong voice in national policy.

National Turfgrass Federation

The National Turfgrass Federation works to engage appropriate divisions of federal, state and local governments in meaningful dialogue. Priority issues include educating policymakers about the industry’s goals and needs, supporting legislative and regulatory initiatives that benefit the turfgrass industry, and funding and implementing the National Turfgrass Research Initiative.

Smart Water Application Technologies

Smart Water Application Technologies is a partnership of water purveyors and irrigation companies, working to promote landscape water-use efficiency through the application of state-of-the-art irrigation technologies. Managed by the Irrigation Association, SWAT works to develop testing protocols for “smart” controller performance, longevity and reliability.
