Live judging returns to the Irrigation Show!

The 2023 contest will feature live product presentations and judging that will be hosted in the Innovation Hubs on the exhibit floor on Nov. 29 during the 2023 Irrigation Show in San Antonio. The products will also be showcased in the new product contest area of the exhibit floor.

New Product Contest Judging
Agriculture Irrigation – Tier 1 – Revenue Equal/Over $20 million
1:00 p.m.-3:05 p.m.

Agriculture Irrigation – Tier 2 – Revenue Under $20 million
3:20 p.m.-4:40 p.m.

Green Hub

New Product Contest Judging
Landscape Lighting
10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Landscape Irrigation – Tier 1 – Revenue Equal/Over $20 million
12:45 p.m.-2:50 p.m.

Landscape Irrigation – Tier 2 – Revenue Under $20 million
3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.


Presentations

  • Product presentations will be held on the exhibit floor on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and a dedicated presenter must be available to make the presentation at the time assigned.
    • Each participant will be notified of their assigned presentation time via email at a later date.
  • Each contestant will make a five-minute presentation.
  • Judges have up to five minutes to ask questions.

Choosing the Winners

The judges will evaluate each product/service based on the following:

  • innovative and/or “changed-for-the-better” qualities
  • increased or improved irrigation, water or energy efficiency
  • product reliability and durability
  • ease of use
  • cost benefits and time savings
  • design quality
  • impact on the industry
  • product sustainability

Winners will be announced during the General Session on Thursday, Nov. 30. All new product contest contestants should have a company representative attend to pick up the award and have photos taken.

     •  Product setup at the show – Nov. 28

     •  Announcement of winners – Nov. 30
Fees
     •  $1,000 – first product
     •  $550 – each additional product
A separate agreement form must be submitted per entry.
Payment is required at the time of application submission for each entry.
