Rainwater Catchment Systems Education

ARCSA Annual Conference

The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association’s 2019 15th Annual Conference will celebrate ARCSA’s 25 years as a national nonprofit solely focused on rainwater catchment education. The conference will take place on Dec. 2-3 and will feature a full lineup of expert presentations focused on issues dealing with rainwater and the energy nexus as well as on innovative water management topics.

Those who register for the ARCSA Conference will receive free entrance to the ARCSA Social, the exhibit hall, the IA new product contest, show floor presentations, the IA keynote address and the IA general session. For more information and to register, visit the ARCSA website.

ARCSA Rainwater Catchment Systems Designer Workshop

Wednesday, Dec. 4  |  8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 5  |  8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

This two-day professional workshop is an in-depth rainwater harvesting course that provides the 16 hours of subject-specific classroom training required to sit for the ASSE Series 21120 Rainwater Catchment Systems Designer Certification exam. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 5, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

No ASSE in-person proctored exam is currently scheduled for this specific workshop, but the personal online proctored exam is always available. The online proctored exam will give a student time to go home and review the workshop data and read the manual prior to taking the exam. State Association Roundtable

Wednesday, Dec. 4  |  3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

New in 2019, this interactive roundtable is open to staff and volunteer leadership from state and provincial turf, landscape, agriculture and/or irrigation associations. Moderated by IA staff, this roundtable is an opportunity to learn more about state-driven advocacy initiatives, public affairs campaigns and other partnerships available with the Irrigation Association.
