Irrigation’s Economic Impact & Industry Research Needs
Thursday, Dec. 9 | 3-5 p.m. Pacific | Room 5A
What is the economic impact of the irrigation industry? How can collaborative research fill irrigation industry knowledge gaps and benefit the broader irrigation community, society and the environment? This session will cover these questions, unveiling findings from two recently completed studies produced in partnership by the Irrigation Association and the Irrigation Innovation Consortium. Updates on other, public-private collaborative projects supported by the IIC will also be shared.
The IIC is supported by a generous five-year grant from the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research along with contributions from industry and other partners. Come to this session to learn more and find out how you can get involved. This event is open to the public and will be live-streamed on the IIC’s YouTube channel. IIC Executive Director Tim Martin and IA CEO Deborah Hamlin, CAE, FASAE, will co-moderate.
Refreshments will be provided during this session.
