Workforce development has the perfect fit for you

E3 program

Students and educators: Here is your chance to take advantage of IA classes and curriculum that will pair with your chosen path of studies in the irrigation industry.

This year, the E3 program will come to you! With the cancellation of the IA’s in-person Irrigation Show and Education Week comes a new look for the 2020 E3 program.

The IA is hosting Education Week+, which offers expanded virtual education and numerous opportunities for learning and engagement safely and easily from your own home. E3 winners will receive an education award to participate in virtual Education Week+, which offers 30 online IA University classes between Nov. 30 and Dec. 4.

E3 winners will also participate in networking sessions and spend time with the 2020 E3 program lead sponsor, The Toro Company. This will take place during the week of Dec. 7-11.

As an added bonus, the winners will be able to attend the IA’s Industry Insights weekly webinar series running from October 2020 to March 2021. This series will showcase the ever-changing and evolving business practices, research and technology in the industry. E3 winners will get to choose from a variety of landscape and agriculture presentations.

Visit the IA website for more details about this year’s program. Applications are due by Oct. 1. Learners and leaders should apply today!

Scholarship program

Save the date! The Irrigation Association will begin accepting applications for the 2021 scholarship program on Oct. 1. If you are pursuing an irrigation-related degree and have taken or are taking a class with an irrigation emphasis, we encourage you to apply!

Faculty Academy

Tune in! Faculty Academy went virtual in 2020. In place of the in-person events, the Irrigation Association hosted a series of free webinars open to both agriculture and landscape irrigation educators.

The opportunity to learn didn’t stop with the live event! All of the webinars were recorded and are now available on the IA website. Take advantage of these free resources from the comfort of your own home.
