IA introduces new format for show presentations

Submit a proposal by April 1 to share innovative research, best practices or a hot topic.

The Irrigation Association is expanding its technical program and irrigation seminars during the 2019 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Las Vegas. The new format will allow additional opportunities, while still keeping the traditional technical program presentation format available in 2019.

New opportunities for presenters include the following:

  • Choose from a 30-, 60- or 90-minute format.
  • Select from research, best practices, how-tos, hot topics and more!

This new, expanded format offers flexibility for a variety of educational and informative offerings. Presenters can choose a shorter presentation, such as a best practice or how-to, or a longer panel discussion about an important issue in the industry. These additional options will help gain even more interest in the educational portion of the show and possibly engage those who might not otherwise participate.

Hot topics on the show floor

With this new format, the IA wants to share issues considered “hot topics” with a broader audience, and the trade show floor offers a perfect venue. The hot topic presentations will highlight issues that are timely and relevant to the industry and will be presented on the show floor. These 30-minute presentations can be less technical while still educational and informative.

Submit proposals by April 1

If you have a research project, best practice, how-to or hot topic to share with irrigation experts, submit your proposal by April 1 to be considered. The website provides additional information about the new formats and submission requirements.

Perks for presenting

As a presenter, you will receive a reduced registration fee of $195, while receiving recognition on the show website, in the printed show guide and on other marketing materials to promote the show and the presentations. The Irrigation Show offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience and visibility as a thought leader in the irrigation industry.
