Faculty Academy offers fresh ideas for your classroom

Instructors teaching at a high school or a two- or four-year institution can register for two days of free hands-on training at the agriculture or landscape Faculty Academy.

The two events provide unique experiences with irrigation-related curriculum, the opportunity to network with fellow academics and valuable knowledge and ideas for the classroom. Both faculty academies are free to attend. Travel grant assistance is available to qualifying attendees on a first-come, first-served basis with preference given to those whose institution can contribute partially to expenses.

The landscape Faculty Academy will have an introductory session titled Irrigation 101 on Wednesday, June 19, 3-5 p.m. This session is for novice instructors and will be a great starting point for the two days to come.
