Apply online for a 2019 Irrigation Foundation scholarship

The Irrigation Foundation is accepting applications for the 2019 Irrigation Foundation scholarship program. Applications are due Feb. 15 with notification to award winners by April 1. The annual program awards several scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 based on the candidate’s letter of intent, financial need, resume, list of irrigation courses and letters of reference.

To be eligible for the scholarship program, a student must

  • be currently enrolled (undergraduate or graduate) at a U.S. two- or four-year institution with a graduation date of December 2019 or later.
  • be a U.S. citizen.
  • have taken or be currently enrolled in a class with an irrigation-related curriculum.
  • have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, based on a 4.0 scale.
  • demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship monies will be sent to recipients’ institutions during the summer of 2019 to use for the fall 2019 semester.
