Time is running out to apply for the Irrigation Foundation’s E3 program

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (Aug. 16, 2017) — The Sept. 15 deadline to get applications in for the 2017 Irrigation E3 program is quickly approaching. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to attend the 2017 Irrigation Show and Education Conference in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 6 – 10, to meet and learn from the industry’s top professionals through the Irrigation Foundation’s E3 program.

In order to actively engage the next generation of irrigators, the Irrigation Foundation created this program to provide students (learners) and faculty (leaders) with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry.

If you are an instructor who is teaching, or will be teaching within the next six months, irrigation-related coursework at a North American community college, university or similar institution of higher learning who has not been selected before for this award, you are eligible to apply.

If you are a student who has an interest in an irrigation-related career path and are enrolled (undergraduate or graduate) at a North American community college, university or similar institution of higher learning; have taken or are currently enrolled in a class with an emphasis in irrigation; and have not been selected in prior years as an E3 learner, you are also eligible to apply.

Winners will be notified by Sept. 22. Those chosen by the selection committee will be able to participate in education classestechnical sessions, networking events and the exhibit hall during the 2017 Irrigation Show.
