Irrigation Foundation Accepting Nominations for Irrigation E3 Program

Applications & Nominations Due Sept. 23

FAIRFAX, VA (Aug. 28, 2015)
— The Irrigation Foundation is now accepting nominations and applications for its Irrigation E3 Program. E3 provides students and faculty with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry. Student and faculty applications are due Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Irrigation E3 Learners 
Students must be nominated by an instructor. E3 Learners should work with their instructors to complete the nomination package, but the instructor must submit the completed materials. The package should include:
  • Completed application
  • Current student resume
  • Unofficial college transcript
A selection committee will choose a minimum of eight students to receive all expenses-paid-trips to the 2015 Irrigation Show & Education Conference in Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 9 – 13. At the show, E3 Learners will participate in education classes, industry sessions and networking events.

Review the Irrigation E3 Learner program details and download the student nomination form. Student nominations are due Sept. 23.
Irrigation E3 Leaders 
Irrigation instructors from a U.S. institution of higher learning may apply to be an Irrigation E3 Leader. The Foundation offers travel assistance grants to help send selected leaders to the Irrigation Show. The application package should include:
  • Completed application
  • Travel grant assistance request
  • Letter of support from a department head
Grants will be distributed based on availability, with preference given to faculty members who are receiving partial assistance from their school.
