Apply for the Irrigation Foundation’s E3 Program

FAIRFAX, VA (Sept. 27, 2016)
— The Irrigation Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2016 Irrigation E3 Program. The program provides students (Learners) and faculty (Leaders) with exposure, experience and education in the irrigation industry. 

The 2016 Irrigation E3 Learners and Leaders will be able to participate in education classes, technical sessions, irrigation seminars, networking events and the exhibit hall during the 2016 Irrigation Show and Education Conference.

E3 Learners and Leaders have the opportunity to apply for the program’s travel award, which covers travel expenses to this year’s show held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dec. 5 – 9.

Students will be given the chance to meet and learn from top professionals in the irrigation industry. Students, who are currently taking or have taken a class with an irrigation emphasis at a North American community college or university and have not been a winner before, are encouraged to apply to become E3 Learners.

The Irrigation E3 Learner program details can be found by clicking here and downloading the student nomination form. Student applications are due Oct. 21.

Faculty are also encouraged to apply to attend the show to participate in classes, industry sessions and networking events. Irrigation instructors at a North American community college or university are encouraged to review the program details and apply by Oct. 21.

Travel awards are available to instructors, with preference given to faculty members who receive partial assistance from their schools.

For some schools, the Irrigation Show dates may coincide with finals or the week prior to finals. Please contact Foundation Director Janine Sparrowgrove(703.536.7080) for schedule flexibility.
