Note: IA certification exam registration is separate from Irrigation Show registration and is done through the IA store. Use the button below to log in to your IA account and register.

The IA will offer exams for the following certification programs at the 2025 Irrigation Show and Education Week. Click on a link to learn more about each program’s requirements and find resources to prepare for the exam:

Certified Agricultural Irrigation Specialist (CAIS)
Certified Golf Irrigation Auditor (CGIA)
Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC)
Certified Irrigation Designer (Agriculture) (CID)
Certified Irrigation Designer (Landscape/Turf) (CID)
Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) | Offered in English and Spanish*
Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA)

*Only the CIT exam questions will be offered in Spanish. At this time, all instructions, forms and reference materials are in English.

Pricing & Registration

Individuals who are only taking a certification exam and are not participating in any other portion of the Irrigation Show are not required to complete a show registration. However, Irrigation Show registration is required to access show activities.

*Candidates for the CID designation must successfully complete both a general exam and a specialty exam. The landscape/turf specialty exam options are golf course or residential/commercial. The agriculture specialty exam options are drip/micro or sprinkler.
