Deadline Approaching for 2017 Irrigation Show & Education Conference Technical Paper Abstracts

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (March 15, 2017) – The Irrigation Association is now accepting technical papers and presentation abstracts for consideration in the technical program at the 2017 Irrigation Show and Education Conference, Nov. 6 – 10, in Orlando, Florida.

To be considered as a presenter at the 2017 Technical Program, a 120- to 150-word abstract must be submitted by Monday, March 20, using the online submission form. First-time users will need to create an account to gain access to abstract guidelines, suggested topics, procedures and deadlines.

The abstract must include concise, descriptive content that explains the value of the information. Papers/presentations must be non proprietary and educational in nature, not sales or product-specific. They may include research, programs and case studies.

Track 1 will be for agriculture topics and track 2 will be landscape topics in conjunction with the ASABE NRES-246 Turf and Landscape Committee.

Each applicant must submit a $100 publishing fee and sign a certification of agreement when submitting an abstract. The Technical Program Committee will review all abstracts and notify authors and presenters by April 15, 2017. Final papers are due by Oct. 16, 2017, in order to be included in the technical program proceedings.

As a benefit of presenting, the primary author/presenter will receive a complimentary full registration to the 2017 Irrigation Show and Education Conference, which includes access to the exhibits, technical program, seminars, new product contest, general session and keynote speaker.
