Register For An IA Event, Class or Exam

To register for a computer-based certification exam, please follow these instructions:

1. Decide which exam you would like to take.
2. Scroll down to event listing.
3. Select appropriate exam.
4. Complete the online application and registration form.
5. Submit payment.
6. You will receive an email confirming your acceptance into the certification program in approximately three weeks. This email will give you the necessary information to register for an exam date and location.

To register yourself or a colleague for an IA event or class, please follow these instructions:

1. Select the appropriate event. To find a specific event:
• Enter a start and end date.
• Or, enter your preferred state or province.
• Or, enter part of the event name. To view all classes, enter Class. To view all certification exam dates, enter Exam. 
• Click Filter.
• To sort the list of available event by a different field, click the field name at the top of the column.
2. Before registering, you will be prompted to log on with your logon and password. If you do not know your logon information, the system will walk you through finding yourself in IA’s database or creating a new account.
3. Click Register, then follow the easy steps to complete the process. To return to an earlier step, click on the step name at the top of the page.
