Turnkey Solutions

Water providers, green industry associations and member companies are invited to sponsor IA classes. The process is straightforward:

  • You pick the classes, provide the location and recruit the students.
  • IA provides an expert instructor and supplies all classroom materials.
  • Outsource registration to IA or do it yourself.

Choose from our catalog of over 24 courses for landscape, golf, agriculture and business. IA classes:

  • Teach best practices and techniques while remaining brand neutral.
  • Combine theory with hands-on experience.
  • Enhance expertise in the field and improve business management practices.
  • Offer relevant training for all experience levels, from those new to the industry to experienced irrigation professionals.

IA-member attendees qualify for price discounts and everyone earns CEUs. 

 

Sponsor Options

Companies, associations, water providers and instructors are invited to help their customers and employees become part of today's water solution by sponsoring a class.

 

Sponsors provide the location and promote the event. IA provides the instructor and materials for 12 enrollees.There are two payment options: 

  

Option 1. The sponsor guarantees a minimum fee to IA, and the class is taught by IA instructors regardless of the number of enrollees. For more than 12 enrollees, there is a nominal fee for each enrollee beyond 12 to cover the cost of materials. Whatever profits (or losses) that occur from the event go to the sponsor, and the sponsor can set the attendee price for the event.

 

Option 2. There is no minimum fee to the sponsor (the event won’t be held for less than 12 participants), and all proceeds go to the Irrigation Association. The price per attendee varies according to the class. E-mail Bob von Bernuth for more details. 

 

Both options require that the sponsor make a deposit of $500 with IA. For Option 1, it is counted toward the guarantee. For Option 2, it is refunded after materials have been returned. If the event is cancelled due to low enrollment, the deposit is not refunded. The Irrigation Association will manage the registration for Option 2, and if the sponsor so desires, IA will manage registration for Option 1 for $25 per attendee.
