Learning On Demand
The more your team knows, the better your bottom line.

The Irrigation Association has long been the leader in helping irrigation professionals master new skills. IA’s online learning center — Learning On Demand — makes continuing education easier and more affordable than ever.

Learning On Demand provides practical solutions for employers and employees. Employers save time and money on quality training.

  • No lost work time.
  • No travel or temporary staffing costs.
  • Lower tuition than conventional classes.

Employees study where, when and the way they learn best.

  • At home, in the office or on the road.
  • During downtime or after hours.
  • At their own pace.

Learning On Demand offers a hands-on, interactive experience. Each online class awards four IA continuing education units and offers the latest technical training available to benefit you or your business.

The course fee is noted by each course. Learning On Demand courses may only be purchased online by credit card and taken online at the Irrigation Association web site. Charge the fee to your MasterCard, Visa or American Express card. When ready to purchase a course, click the "Purchase Now" button. Immediately after your purchase, you’ll receive two e-mails. The first e-mail is a record of your purchase. The second provides access to Learning On Demand.

IMPORTANT: You have 90 consecutive days from the date of purchase to take the course and complete the assessment. After that time, access will be denied. If you fail to take the course and assessment within the 90-day period, there are no refunds or extensions. When purchasing a course, you agree to these terms.

Assessment and Certificate of Completion

Each course offers review questions at the end of every section and a final assessment at the end of the course. Assessment scoring is based on the percent of total questions answered correctly.

Do Not Click "Submit Assignment" Until Course and Assessment Completed
Do not click "Submit Assignment" until you are done with the course and ready to submit the final assessment.

Plan to take the assessment in one sitting. Once you start the assessment, you must answer each question in order until finished. If you must stop during the test, click "save and close." This will allow you to come back to the site, but you’ll have to start the test over as it will not resume from where you stopped.

If "Submit Assignment" is clicked, you will not be allowed to resubmit the test, only review it. Again, scoring is based on the percent of total questions answered correctly.

To receive a certificate of completion, click "Submit Assignment." Your certificate will be emailed, generally, in three to five business days.
