With a popular California destination, this year’s show brings a few new changes as well as improves on some of the popular annual favorites.

New in 2018

You asked — we listened. In 2018, the trade show hours will be adjusted to provide attendees better opportunities to browse all exhibits, while improving the convenience needs of exhibitors. New 2018 show hours include the following:

Wednesday, Dec. 5: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 6: 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

The always-popular keynote address will kick off the show on Dec. 5, followed by the general session on Dec. 6. Stay tuned for more information about the keynote speaker.

With the overwhelming success of the dunk tank IrrigationPAC fundraiser during the 2017 Irrigation Show in Orlando, plans are being made for another fun PAC fundraiser event. Bring your checkbook to the opening night party and be ready for another fun evening!

As the show closes out, the closing night event will be held in the exhibit hall, making it easy to grab a drink and some snacks and make one last connection with others in the industry before heading out.

Annual favorites

Planning for the technical sessions and seminars is well underway. As expected, the schedule will include topics covering the most current and relevant issues in the ag and landscape irrigation industries.

The 2018 Irrigation Show will provide a great opportunity to get certified and take your career to the next level. Attendees will be able to take advantage of the numerous education classes and exams being offered throughout the week, including Spanish offerings.

In addition to the numerous education offerings and expansive trade show floor, the 2018 event will include many annual popular events. The opening night party will feature a relaxed California flare where party-goers can sample food truck cuisine while visiting with colleagues in a new unique street party venue. Other favorite events — Women in Irrigation social and Young Professionals breakfast — grow in popularity every year and will again be planned in 2018.

We’ve only scratched the surface of exciting things planned for the 2018 Irrigation Show and Education Conference. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us in Long Beach, California, Dec. 3-7, 2018. Watch the show website for updates and more things to come.
