History Common Interest Group

The History Common Interest Group documents the history of irrigation and the irrigation industry’s significant contributions to global economic development and quality of life. The CIG:

  • Maintains an archive of historical documents and artifacts.
  • Oversees development and expansion of the online Irrigation Museum.
  • Works with the International Center for Water Technology (Fresno, Calif.) to display a small portion of IA’s artifact collection.
  • Plans events to celebrate the industry’s history and benefit the museum.
